2010 JUNIOR GOLF INSTRUCTION

PLEASE NOTE THAT WITH OUR YEAR ROUND FACILITY INCLUDING OUR SUPER HEATED GOLF RANGE, ACADEMY STUDIO, INDOOR PUTTING GREEN AND CLASSROOMS, MANY OF OUR JUNIOR PROGRAMS ARE OFFERED YEAR ROUND!

 

Junior 30 Minute Private Lesson - $45

In a 30 minute one on one private junior lesson, our PGA golf professionals communicate in a friendly and positive manner to create a fun and interesting learning environment to improve any aspect of your game.  Lessons are offered at various times and include range balls and equipment, if necessary.   

 

Junior One Hour Private Lesson - $85

A junior one hour private lesson includes one on one instruction by a PGA professional to carefully work with you to address any aspect of your game for improved performance.  In addition to golf instruction, recommendations for playing and practicing are included in the 60 minute lesson.

  

Junior Private Lesson Series - $240

Includes:

  • Six 30 minute Private Lessons.
  • One month of $2 off large or big george buckets, rounds on the par 3 golf course, and Two free George Vitense Academy golf clinics. 
  • Include an unlimited 2010 junior par 3 membership for only $89 (normally $109)

 

Junior Take Home V1 Video Swing Analysis - $65

V1 Pro Swing Analysis Software is the cutting edge of digital instructional software. Using this tool in conjunction with your opportunity to access excerpts from your golf lesson online at the V1 Internet Golf Academy 24/7 makes this the ultimate instructional tool for game improvement.  Our experienced PGA professionals will record and compare your swing with PGA tour professionals.  Various software tools are used to analyze your swing to make it incredibly easy for you to see where your game can be improved for maximum performance. In addition to the internet recorded lesson, we provide you with an 8 frame golf swing sequence printout for you to take home with you.  V1 Pro is an outstanding tool, and combined with our PGA Professional expertise, we are confident you will see improvement in your game.




Little Putterheads  (ages 3 to 6)
(Available Year Round!)

Introduce your child to the fun and great game of golf at a very early age.  They are ready!  Children ages 3 to 6 meet for four consecutive one hour weekly lessons.  Parents are encouraged but not required to attend.  We combine learning golf on our three practice greens and golf range with activities on our miniature golf courses.  For the late fall and winter classes, we utilize our golf academy studio, indoor Madison landmark miniature golf course and classrooms to address all areas of programming.  Golf clubs specifically designed for this age group are used during the lesson to ensure that we provide everything you need for your child to have fun learning.  Watch the smile on your child's face when they get the golf ball airborne!

Junior Linksters Part 1 (ages 4-6)
(Available Year Round!)

The junior linksters program is the next step for our youngest juniors.  Designed for ages 4 to 7, this program will advance their learning of the game with more focused instruction on swing mechanics, with miniature golf course fun.  The juniors will meet in weekly one hour sessions for four consecutive weeks.  This program includes 3, 20 minute rotations on: the golf range, practice greens, and the miniature golf course.  For the late fall and winter classes, we utilize our golf academy studio, indoor putting green, indoor Madison landmark miniature golf course and classrooms to address all areas of programming.

Junior Linksters Part 2 (ages 4-7)

Designed for junior golfers age 4-7 who have already completed Junior Linksters Part 1.  This class will further develop your child's skills and understanding of the wonderful game of golf. The juniors will meet in weekly one hour sessions for four consecutive weeks.  This program is made up of 3, 20 minute stations where your child will learn chipping and putting on the practice greens, full swing fundamentals on the driving range, and have fun on our miniature golf course.

  • Designed only for junior golfers ages 7-14 who have completed junior golf 101 Part 1.
  • Classes consist of 3 to 6 juniors
  • Classes are 60 minutes each week for four consecutive weeks. 
  • Cost of $95 includes one month of $2 off large or big george buckets, rounds on the par 3 golf course, and 2 free George Vitense Golf Academy golf clinics. 
  • Week 1: Set up and Full swing review.  Each student will be video taped to find individual swing flaws to work on in following weeks.
  • Week 2: Work on individual swing flaws and introduce ball flight laws.
  • Week 3: Chipping, putting, bunker play, in three 20 minute stations.
  • Week 4: 15 minutes of warm up followed by a short Q&A then on to the course
  • Include an unlimited 2010 junior par 3 membership for only $89 (normally $109)

High School Recreational Player

Designed for high school golfer with little or no experience.  Classes consist of 3 to 6 students for 60 minutes each week for four consecutive weeks.  For one month from the first day of class, each student will receive one month of daily $2 off large or big george buckets or rounds on the par 3 golf course.  Each student will also receive free access to two George Vitense Golf Academy golf clinics.

  • Week 1: Overview of golf clubs, introduction to the grip, stance, posture and full swing
  • Week 2: Review of grip, stance, posture and full swing
  • Week 3: Short game (putting and chipping)
  • Week 4: Introduction to full swing with woods, hybrids, and long irons

High School Elite

The High School Elite Program is specifically designed for junior golfers in grades 7 thru 12 either on high school golf teams or aspiring to make the team.  This is a more serious approach to learning the game and making lower scores more obtainable

Classes are taught by Derek Schnarr, Head Golf Professional & Vitense Golf Academy Director

Groups are limited in size (3 to 5 in each class)

Four Weeks, one hour each week

Classes Tuesday thru Saturday at 4:30pm & 6:00pm

Cost is $150 per golfer

Session 1 (Full Swing Emphasis)

  • Full Swing Review / Smart Practice techniques (range vs pre-golf)

 

D.R.E.A.M

(Life Lessons Through Golf)

This program is designed to “Teach Life Lessons Through Golf.”  Each week there will be a new theme; Such as; passion, honesty, respect, and how to win and lose gracefully.  There will be 15 minutes for discussion followed by 45 minutes of golf instruction.  Classes fill up with 20 kids and are taught by Vitense Golf Academy Instructors as well as help from local high school players.  The cost is $100 per 6 week session.
