We made the most of it—starting on the par 3 course, then moving to the practice putting and chipping area, the driving range, indoor mini golf, and finally wrapping up with the California side outside. Lots of challenging shots, bridges, banks etc. Course had a lot of ‘playground’ type of items throughout which would be nice when you have young ones with(slides on holes, other random things). He provided excellent training for me, offering videos and making himself available to answer all my questions about clubs and practice techniques. “Vitense Golfland is the perfect place to go with your family or on a date. The mini putt-putt course is a lot of fun and offers a variety of challenges. There are two different routes that you can choose from (Wisconsin or California). If you pay for both then you can do both courses. I have been going here since I was a little kid with my family (30 plus years).
There is even a par 3 golf course as well too. I have done that a couple of times. In addition to the par 3 course and the mini putt-putt course there is an indoor mini putt-putt course. “We just had my daughter’s first birthday at Vitense, and it could not have been a more wonderful experience! From the start, we worked with Allen who helped with every question and detail I had regarding the party (I had a lot)! He was timely with his responses and so professional. He walked me through the space, helped me with the menu and the logistics of people, timing, etc.
On the day of the party, we had our own attendant named Tani who was so helpful, kind and attentive. She helped me order more food when we needed it, made sure the party room was clean and ready for set up, and she was really there for anything we needed. And the food! We had so many compliments from guests about how good the food was as well! We had to order more sliders because people were eating so many! The pizzas, fruit trays, pretzel bites, etc were SO yummy. We didn’t know what to expect for food at a mini golf venue, but the kitchen rocked it. As always, the facilities were clean and fun, which was nice being stuck indoors for a February birthday party. Both party spaces were also beautiful and great options depending on your need and party size. It was our first stop on our trip to Wisconsin so it was a fun experience to walk through all the fun locations in the state! Some holes were hard and some were easy! “We played an early morning round on the original 18 holes.(1955) It was fabulous but quite difficult. Each hole is themed and has things to climb on or sit on. The greens themselves have many slight inclines making it trickly. Well worth the visit. There is also real golf and a pitch and putt, a cafe and other amusements. “I can’t remember the name, but it was Munchie ____, and it was the best ice cream I’ve ever had! I liked the texture the cake batter adds to the ice cream, and the flavor of it was amazing! Additionally, their indoor golf course is really fun! Although sometimes the ball goes into the water, it’s not that big of a deal, and it’s easy to get out. There is a blacklight area that is really trippy, and I feel it should be a little more easier to tell the depth of areas, but other than that, the place is awesome.”  ~The Froog  7.19.24

I go almost solely for the driving range, the Big George bucket of balls is a great deal, they have good appetizers and bar food type items, plus the TopTracer system that tracks your ball, you can play games, etc… Staff has always been awesome. This is my go to place for practicing in the Madison area. Update: 3 years now I’ve been going to Vitense and I haven’t had a single bad experience. “This was such a cool miniature golf experience! This isn’t a basic mini golf course. There are slides and other fun kids activities at each hole. There are indoor and outdoor courses both normal and hard. There is a lot of water your ball could end up in and lots of obstacles but it’s so fun! If your ball goes into the water you won’t lose it, it’s easy to get it back. I went with my 4 year old so my hands got wet often 😂 we only did the outdoor courses but it was plenty to stay entertained from open to lunch time. We grabbed lunch on site and it was pretty good. They had plenty of options for both kids and adults and had a full bar. They also have an ice cream bar by the main entrance and an outdoor seating area as well as indoor.
